I didn't win the pastel contest but my photo was featured on the natural light blog. It was chosen as "More I loved" from Detra, the Natural Light Workshop teacher. Their were over 1600 entries and mine was one of 40 featured on the blog!! I can not even express how honored I felt to see my little photo in the company of some AMAZING photographers! I never expected to even come close to winning and then to see my photo featured was pretty incredible! If you're interested, here's a link to the site....

And although I received $100 off by being one of the photos featured I'm sorry to say I won't be taking the workshop as the cost is $500....spending $400 on this is not in this stay-at-home mom's, living off a teacher's salary budget. Oh... but to dream...someday... :) Regardless I'm still ticked pink to have this kind of validation, even if it's just a fluke, at least I know I'm doing something right with this photography thing!
