She is truly a great big sister! I know it's what I'm supposed to say but honestly this little girl is a sweetheart when it comes to her younger siblings. She loves to help "take care" of him. She watches everything I do and mimics me when interacting with him. She gives him his paci when he's crying and turns on his favorite toy that plays lullaby music. Then she tells me "Mommy I put Andrew to sleep."  

Her new favorite thing is to ask if he can sit with her on the couch when she is watching TV. 

His face really does light up when he sees her.  I look forward to watching their relationship grow, I know it just keeps getting better!

She woke up last night complaining that her ear hurt. I immediately knew...ear infection. I gave her some motrin and she fell asleep and then early this morning she said her ear still hurt. We scheduled a doctor appointment and sure enough- ear infection. We all have coughs, colds, and now I have two kids on antibiotics for ear infections. Gotta love January!

 I had a play date scheduled so daddy took her to the doctor. She came back proudly showing me her Dora stickers from the doctor and loudly proclaiming "Mommy, the doctor didn't give me a shot!". (We never told her they were going to give her a shot but it's funny what they always seem to remember from past visits.)

 Tony said she did great, followed all the directions the doctor gave her. So different from her sister at that age, who was always a little more sensitive with visits and new experiences.

 If this is the worst of our January, I'll gladly take it!

New website and a 365 share...

Well I am thrilled to announce that my new website is up and running!  http://www.imprintsfromtricia.com/.  It's a blog that features all the early childhood activities I do with my own children.  I will still keep this one for personal/family/365 photos. 

Speaking of 365 here's a picture share that I took for my 365 project.... The other day I was putting away laundry in my room while the girls were playing in Mallory's room. Suddenly I heard silence and any mom knows that means they are up to something!  I walked around the corner and this is what I saw...





I walked in and Mallory said "We're watching a movie."

I surprised Tony, Papa (my dad) and Papo (my grandpa) with some new pics of the girls and thanks to my new tripod some included me as well.  Still working on figuring out the tipod and not cutting heads off!

All by myself...

At the grand old age of 2 (almost 3) we are hearing more and more "I want to do it all by myself" from Mallory.  She recently began dressing herself including wanting to pick out her own outfits!  Yes, it takes ten times longer but she's so proud of herself when she accomplishes it that it's for sure worth it in the end!
