37/365 (Valentines Day Photo Session)

Here's my makeshift Valentine's Day Photo Session set up.

I used natural light only thus the ugly grey-ish background paper (supposed to be white).

The heart shaped lollipops worked great for bribery!!




This is the photo I chose for my day 37. It's not my favorite of the set nor is it technically correct, it's cropped too tight, and they aren't even really smiling but it's a photo with all three of my kids. So it wins for that reason alone!

She helps me give him a bath every night. Her favorite part is helping to brush his hair after his bath. I've said it before and I'll say it again. She adores him and is the best big sister.

90% of the time she fights me on doing anything to her hair other than a headband. For some reason today she asked me to do braids before preschool. I happily obliged.

We had a sleepover with our good friends and there daughter. The girls were so excited to have Rosie sleep with them in the blow up Princess bed!

Today was my birthday. The only thing I really wanted was one photo with me and my babies. (Oh, and some Clickinmom gift cards).

I got both.

It was a good day.

First time eating rice cereal in his new "bumbo" seat.  Not a fan!  He kept spitting it out.  I think I'll wait a week and try again.

This past Sunday we celebrated my birthday at my parent's house. (along with my twin sister)

 He is 5 months old today!!

I love how his face lights up when his daddy comes home from work every night.

I love how he all you have to do is smile at him and he smiles back.

I love his sparkly beautiful blue eyes. I love his adorable low raspy belly giggle.

I love snuggling with him and rocking him to sleep.

I love playing peek a boo, this little piggy, and patty cake with him.

I love how he grasps hold of my fingers so tightly.

I love how easily and quickly he became a mama's boy!

I am and always will be smitten with this little guy!

The girls had a blast at a friends birthday party today. A place called Make A Messterpiece.

She is my Jillian. She has the greatest imagination! At 2 years old she can turn a toilet paper tube into a telescope, a cast, and an instrument. Her use of language often blows me away. The other day she came to my room in the morning and said sadly "Mommy, I had a bad dream." Then stopped and smiled and sad gleefully "Hey, Martin Luther King had a dream! Will you tell me about his dream mommy?" I pretty much melted right then and there.

I have a feeling this project will be filled with MANY pics of these two. Every time I take a picture of Andrew, Mallory asks if she can be in the picture with him! "Take one with me in it mommy!" "I want to take a picture with Andrew." So sweet!! Another iphone pic. Edited with Snap Seed.
